SATURDAYS ARE A TEST, NOT THE TEST
Saturdays are a test, not the goal. We train, and Saturday’s we test. Repeat. Winning and losing are only one factor in how we measure success. If the game is being taught at the highest level, players are being asked to do very difficult things in a game setting. Younger the age, more the mistakes. And this is good! GSA teaches our players how to play sophisticated soccer, so they can learn how to win later. Yes, we compete and play to win every game. However, we do this with development in mind, teaching a specific brand of soccer; possession, creativity, and attractive soccer… this is DIFFERENT and the benefits HUGE long term:
Players Develop - growth mindset. Improve daily.
Player Retention - soccer is a life sport, stay involved (coaching, refereeing, admin.)
Player Advancement - college, professional, and beyond
